Wolves have got to embrace their ‘good moments’, Ryan Bennett says, as he hailed the team’s fighting spirit.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team are seventh in the Premier League and in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

They travel to Bournemouth on Saturday looking to cement their lofty position.

And Bennett believes the battling qualities of the squad are lifting them to greater heights.

He said: “We talk about that a lot, maybe people don’t really know, it’s nice when everyone’s playing great football but ultimately when we need to dig in. We can and we do.

“We create that back five, we stay tight and teams find us hard to break down at some points.

“When the ball’s being flung into the box there are people that put their head and their body in the way. That’s what you need.

“I don’t think you can have the season we’ve had without that.

“We’re a small group, everyone’s willing to go out there and work as hard as they can and put in 100 per cent for the person next to them. That’s why we’ve done so well.

“It’s another game and you want to win every single one.

“We’ve got a small squad, we don’t make many changes for the games and we take them all seriously.

“It just keeps on rolling. People are quick to forget we had a tough spell as well, we didn’t win for a while so you’ve got to embrace these moments.

“I said that back then, when we were going through the tough spell.

“It’s moments like Sunday we need to keep remembering – and make sure we make many more.”
