The Spanish wing-back, on loan from Atletico Madrid, has impressed so far this season.

The 24-year-old is on a temporary deal for the rest of the campaign, moving to Molineux immediately after he joined Atletico from Celta Vigo last summer.

But Wolves have moved to try and sign him permanently before Thursday's 11pm transfer deadline, with discussions believed to be ongoing.

It's thought all parties are open to the move and it should be completed before the window closes.

Otto has made 21 appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo's team, scoring once in the 2-0 win over Southampton.

He made his debut for Spain in October against England and has earned three caps.
