Nuno: I could not help celebrating dramatic Wolves win

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo insists he could not help getting caught up in the emotion of winning a seven-goal thriller against Leicester in stoppage time.

Diogo Jota completed a hat-trick in the 92nd minute, sealing a fantastic 4-3 victory over the Foxes at Molineux, and Nuno's celebration saw him sent off by referee Christopher Kavanagh.

Nuno, after running onto the pitch, had no complaints though and said: "That happened, and the law is clear.

"There is no explanation. After all the situations in the game, to finish the game like that brings tremendous happiness for everyone in Molineux. I'm no exception.

"The referee explained to me what happened. It was clear, and it was a good decision.

"You are not allowed to go out of your technical area, even to celebrate.

"It's a very difficult moment, especially as the game was up and down.

"It is difficult to contain your emotions. It is the law. It has happened before with other managers. I'm so happy."

Wolves took an early two-goal lead thanks to goals from Jota and Ryan Bennett.

Leicester, though, levelled through Demarai Gray and a Conor Coady own goal.

Jota then struck either side of a Wes Morgan header in a topsy-turvy encounter.

"There are so many circumstances in the game that I think we should avoid," said Nuno.

"But it was a very good game, especially because I think both teams went for the game.

"For Leicester to come back from 2-0 down to draw, and then we hit them again, and they came back again to draw. Then, in the end, it was us.

"Both teams showed a lot of character, a lot of courage, to go for the game.

"I think it was a fantastic game for the people who were here at Molineux, especially for our fans.

"We know one of the things we wanted was to improve at home – and we did it, so we are very, very happy."
