Jurgen Klopp's team are unbeaten in the Premier League so far this season.

Nuno, speaking at today's pre-match press conference, said: "It's a big challenge for us, we're prepared.

"Liverpool are a fantastic team with a fantastic manager – what a game.

"We'll try to compete to the maximum of our efforts and belief, trying everything we can.

"Team spirit, the way we feel and think as a team, is what can push us forward and help us achieve the things we want as a team.

"It can never go away from us, the way we work and believe.

"It makes you proud that when you have a bad moment and the way you get out of it, the way we did it, credit to the players, we solved it.

"It doesn't mean it can't happen again, but we are ready."

Nuno will face Klopp for the first time in his managerial career.

"I've never faced him, no," the Wolves boss said.

"They're fantastic, everybody can see what Klopp is doing and the way Liverpool plays and what they're achieving and building.

"They're top of the league, it says we're going to face one of the best teams in Europe, we look forward to it."

Nuno also gave his thoughts on his friend and compatriot Jose Mourinho being sacked by Manchester United this week.

"Personally, he has an impact on me," Nuno added.

"I was a member of the Porto squad, that will stay forever because when you have someone that manages you, that coaches you, and you follow and believe and do everything you can because you believe in that idea, that stays forever.

"It's the impact Jose had on me and everyone in that squad – he taught us how to win.

"I've not spoken to him, there's no need. As a former player and a friend I wish him all the best, from the bottom of my heart."
