"Don't panic" is the message from Wolves' Matt Doherty as they look to end their miserable run of form.

Nuno Espirito Santo's team take on the might of Chelsea at Molineux tomorrow on the back of five defeats in six matches.

Doherty, who scored in the 2-1 defeat at Cardiff on Friday, says the players will be keen to get back out there as soon as possible.

"Any game is good, we want to get back on the pitch," Doherty said.

"The atmosphere will be good so we’ll look forward to it and it’s a big few games for us.

"We need to not panic. You can see in our play, we’re not panicking, it’s hard to put your finger on it.

"It’s hard to put it down to one thing, it wouldn’t have happened last season.

"It’s a better league and better players, we’re not used to losing consecutive games like this and it’s uncharted territory for us.

"We’ve got to snap out of it quickly and beat Chelsea.

"We’ll dust ourselves down and be ready."

Wolves will be without Ruben Neves for tomorrow's game as the Portuguese midfielder is suspended.

Nuno's team have taken points off Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United already this season – but Doherty knows they've got to start taking their chances.

"We’re still together and our confidence hasn’t gone," he added.

"I think you’d be able to tell in our play, if players weren’t looking for the ball or if we were hesitant.

"I don’t think we were that bad (at Cardiff) , we weathered the storm for the most part and it’s frustrating and difficult to take, losing five in six.

"For the quality of players we have and the way we play at times, it’s difficult to take.

"We’re getting the chances but that’s the Premier League, it’s hard to score goals and you get punished if you don't take your chances.

"We need to get off this run as soon as possible."
