The 25-year-old has also won the Major League Soccer side's fan favourite award.

He has made 31 MLS appearances and scored once for the Rapids, who are 11th out of 12 teams in the Western Conference with one game to go – failing to reach the play-offs for the second season in succession.

Price rose through the Wolves ranks and played more than 100 games – helping them clinch the League One crown in 2013/14 – before making the move across the pond in January.
