The Wolves boss was proud of his team's display after they fought back from going a goal down to earn a point against Jose Mourinho's men.

United took the lead through Fred in the 18th minute before Wolves fought back with Joao Moutinho scoring the equaliser in the 53rd minute.

Nuno said: "I'm proud of the way we started the game, proud of the character that we showed after when we are under the score, and proud of the way that we played, the way that we defend, organised, putting bodies in front of the ball and the way that we created our chance. We played the way we wanted to play."

Mourinho, who was in the opposite dugout, is known as 'The Special One' but Wolves fans were singing that Nuno was 'special' during the game.

But asked if he felt like 'The Special One', Nuno said: "No, what we want tomorrow is to work harder because we have a game on Tuesday and then we go again on Saturday. It is the building of the team."

He continued: "It is not easy to come to Old Trafford. It is fantastic club, fantastic players, fantastic manager. We did it, let's improve, let's get better, so we can play every week like this, this is the goal that we want to achieve."

Wolves' next game sees them host Leicester City on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup.
