The Portuguese midfielder was named player of the season and player's player of the season at Tuesday night's big ceremony in Telford.

He also, unsurprisingly, took home the goal of the season gong for his unbelievable 35-yard volley against Derby County.

Neves has already publicly stated he wants to stay with Wolves in the Premier League, despite constant speculation linking him with some of Europe's big clubs.

And he said: "We improved this season but you can expect a lot more from us next season.

"The fans are incredible. We have a fantastic club and me and my team mates are proud of this club.

"We have to say thank you to the fans.

"We have a fantastic team, it was an amazing year and season for us and now we have to enjoy with our families.

"My goal is to improve myself always, every game and every training session."

Wolves' players have now jetted off for a five-day end-of-season celebration in Las Vegas to kick off a seven-week break before returning to pre-season training on June 27.
