We spoke with Marc Iles of the Bolton News to get an insider take on the Trotters to see if Wolves fans can expect another joyous day.

Wolves obviously got the better of Bolton in something of a rout in November, do you expect a change in tact from that game for the Trotters?

The squad has changed a little from that hiding at Molineux. Gary Madine has moved on to Cardiff City and the lack of a direct replacement means Bolton now - theoretically - have to play less direct football. Under pressure, that isn't always the case.

Whether Phil Parkinson persists with five at the back, as started the Barnsley game, or the four which finished it is the big question at the moment.

Fans feel an extra attacking player gives the team more impetus to push forward - but of course the last thing they want is to be exposed against Wolves.

Phil Parkinson's men are still right in the thick of a relegation tussle and are in a poor run of form, do you think they have enough to guide themselves to safety?

It was better in the second half at Barnsley, where they came back from a goal down to lead 2-1, and then concede a sloppy equaliser in injury time.

Before that Bolton had slumped to four fairly desperate defeats and it felt rather low.

I think they have enough to stay safe. They still have to play Burton away and Forest at home.

But I'd like to see them throw everything at Wolves and really make a game of it.

With the likes of Adam Le Fondre and Karl Henry on their books, Bolton have a number of former Wolves players - how have they handled life at the Macron Stadium this season?

Alfie had a difficult first half of the season where he struggled to get games. He came close to leaving the club on loan in January but when Madine left he took the opportunity and has played well ever since. He's a goal-scorer, pure and simple.

Karl had a huge impact when he came in.

Before October Bolton had taken two points from 11 games - and no club has ever survived in this division after doing the same.

He helped steady the ship, organise, and it also helps me that he's a great post-match talker as well. Helps fill the paper.

Who should Wolves fans keep an eye on in terms of an attacking threat from Bolton? Is there someone who's stood out this season?

Sammy Ameobi can produce magic with one drop of the shoulder. I felt he was tiring a few weeks ago but he seems to have the bit between his teeth again now.

Will Buckley and Craig Noone have both been there and got the T-shirt in the Championship but have had tough seasons and not played as much as they'd like.

I think they are the kind of guys who will be important to Bolton on Saturday.

How do you expect Bolton to face up against the league leaders? Do you think they'll try and frustrate Wolves?

Bolton teams have a long and illustrious history of frustrating Wolves teams. I'm sure John McGinlay will be in the vicinity on Saturday.

Clearly, the Whites have to knock a very good team off their stride.

Nuno's side could seal the Championship title at the Macron this weekend, do you think Bolton will have some added desire to stop that happening on their own turf?

There has been a long rivalry between the two clubs and fans of a certain age would love to see your title party delayed at the Macron.

I don't think there is any doubt Wolves deserve to lift the trophy but I'm sure you'd rather do it at Molineux, anyway!

Wolves have obviously secured promotion now, from what you've seen of them this campaign do you think they can cut it in the top flight?

I genuinely do.

Lots of people have their opinions on the club's recruitment policy but it has worked a treat - and I can see others copying it in the years to come.

With a few Premier League-savvy strikers I can see Wolves finishing top half next season.

Your match prediction?

I'm notoriously terrible at predicting scorelines.

I'd just like to see Wolves come off the pitch on Saturday knowing they have been in a proper game. No walkovers.
