Wolves lost 4-1 to rivals Aston Villa on Saturday but have the opportunity to bounce back with home games against Reading and Burton this week.

"We have to stay humble," Nuno said.

"I don't say anything ablout the attitude of the players. There are days that things don't work and the first person responsible is me.

"But stay humble, we still have a long, long way to go."

Meanwhile Shi called for the fans to back the team and help get them over the line in the coming weeks.

"To the fans I say, we understand the emotions but we're very confident," he said.

"As the chairman I'm very confident we'll cross the finishing line.

"I know our team, what they're doing and the games to come. I'm very confident we can finish strongly.

"The only thing I hope is for the fans to support us, they don't need to worry about our mentality.

"The players, the coach, they're very strong and have a strong mentality. We're ready.

"We have six home games to come, I hope they can try their best to support us and enjoy the games.

"Success comes from the fans and us being together and we need encouragement to help us over the line."
