Could YOU be our Wolves superfan?
It’s that time of year again – we’re on the lookout for the ultimate Wolves superfan.
If you know someone who has gone to extreme levels to support the club they love, we want to hear from you.
Once again we’re looking to honour a Wolves fanatic at this season’s End of Season Awards, which take place at Telford International Centre, on Tuesday, May 8.
Our winner will receive a trophy and have their story told in front of hundreds of fellow fans – as well as the entire Wolves first-team squad – at the glittering annual ceremony.
We want to hear about diehard Wolves fans who have gone above and beyond for the gold and black cause.
Whoever scoops the prestigious accolade will follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner Dylan Stevens.
He received the award after the Express & Star judges were won over by his extreme devotion, following Wolves despite losing his sight after being diagnosed with a brain tumour 14 years ago.
Season ticket holder Dylan travels from Manchester to home games as well as going to away matches with his sister Alana.
“A lot of people used to say to me ‘Why are you going there?’ and I put it down to five things,” said Dylan. “I was seeing the football and how tactics work; meeting new people; travelling to new places; having a beer; and a great atmosphere.
“Now, because I can’t see, I have still got the other four like I always did. Even though it’s not the best, I can still rely on the things which I did when I could see.
