FA to take no action over Diogo Jota incident during Wolves win over QPR
No action will be taken after Diogo Jota appeared to be struck by an opponent during Saturday's match against QPR, the FA has announced.
The football governing body announced this morning that it would not be taking any action against QPR defender Jack Robinson.
After the match, which Wolves won 2-1, a video circulated on social media appearing to show Jota being struck off the ball by Robinson.
The incident, missed by the match officials at the time, was referred to the FA who launched an investigation.
The video was viewed by an FA panel of three former professional referees who were asked to adjudicate whether a red card offence had taken place.
However the decision was not unanimous so no disciplinary action will follow.
