The 20-year-old will officially make the switch to the League Two club next week.

Wilson is a regular for Wolves under-23s, netting seven times in ten appearances this term.

Handed his first-team debut last season by Paul Lambert, Wilson featured twice in the Carabao Cup this term, scoring his first senior goal in Wolves' second round win over Southampton.

Earmarked as one for the future after joining from Bristol Rovers in January 2015, Wilson signed a new two-and-a-half year contract at Molineux in October.

He will be available for Friday's Premier League 2 clash against Stoke City at Compton Park before being able to play for Port Vale from Monday.
