The club’s hierarchy has transformed the Molineux staff in recent months with a high turnover of changes and that trend looks set to continue.

Andrew Findlay has joined from United to become the club’s new performance analysis chief.

Findlay had been at Old Trafford for four years and previously worked with their rivals Manchester City.

He will work closely with head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, who has placed a big emphasis on performance analysis since taking charge.

Meanwhile, former Fulham senior scout Miguel Rios – who has previously worked at Barcelona and Arsenal – has joined the club’s scouting team.

Rios was at Craven Cottage for two years and had previously been with Brentford for five years as both a coach and in recruitment.

Sporting director Kevin Thelwell and recruitment chief John Marshall have finalised the recruitment team for the months ahead. It's believed Thelwell identified Findlay as a key possible addition to the backroom team and all the moves have got the backing of Nuno, who plays an integral role in the recruitment process.

Rios is one of a number of recent additions to Wolves’ scouting network as the recruitment team look to identify targets for the January transfer window.

It’s thought money is there for Nuno to spend on the right players with a striker top of Wolves’ wishlist.

Al Hilal loanee Leo Bonatini is the Championship’s top scorer with 10 goals but with no obvious back-up if he were to get injured Wolves are keen to make at least one addition up front.

They tried to land several targets before August’s transfer deadline, lining up a £10million move for PSV striker Jurgen Locadia which fell through with just hours to spare.
