What's your verdict on the match? Not a classic by any stretch of the imagination but very happy that we are in tonight's fourth round draw, remembering there were eight changes to our starting team.

Very pleased to see Zyro return after so long. He did quite well and with a bit of luck could have scored two goals with our best chances in the 90 minutes.

Oskar Buur Rasmussen was a surprise starter too. To be honest, I'd forgotten that we'd signed this player. We were told it was for the academy, so he must be doing well in training. I thought he did well initially, though started to make mistakes as the game went on. A decent debut overall but one for the future, in reality.

The first half was entertaining. Wolves played good football without really creating many clear cut chances. Rovers also did well without really threatening. Norris had to make his first save just before the break.

I think most people in the ground thought we would 'kick on' and go on to win comfortably in the second half. How wrong can you be?

We failed to raise the tempo and started to make errors which gave Rovers the ball and added confidence. Three substitutions in quick succession only appeared to add to the chaos as we lost shape. Norris got busier and tipped the first of two shots onto the woodwork. He's a very good keeper (has not conceded in 3 first team games now).

We also had good scoring chances, most notably Bright and Douglas whose shot was deflected for a corner. Then, Miranda hit the bar from the resulting corner.

No one wanted extra time. I was thankful that Bright finished a good move involving Price and Douglas.

Who played well – and who didn't impress? Norris was man of the match, without a doubt.

There were other good performances too. Coady was self assured, as usual.

I thought Price played well and 120 minutes will have done him no harm. Just wish he would move the ball quicker. Zyro looked good on his return.

Bright Enobakhare can be frustrating. He's got bags of talent, he has both strength and skill on the ball, but decision making with runs and passes are all over the place. Never gave up though and deserved the goal.

Overall, a decent game to watch. Very pleased to get through. Also pleased to see Zyro and Douglas return from injury. Job done.

What's your verdict on the match? Well, there is the easy way and then there is the Wolves way.

We always have to make it more difficult for ourselves and this match was a prime example.

But Will Norris was there to get us out of trouble with some fantastic saves and the visitors must have felt unlucky hitting the woodwork on more than one occasion.

For large chunks of the game we controlled the play but too many times we gifted Rovers the ball far too easily.

In the first half, we were infuriatingly passing the ball from side to side in front of the box with no one really looking like they wanted it. Often in an eagerness to get rid of the ball, it ended up at the feet of an opposing player. There seemed to be a real lack of energy and ideas, we were crying out for a bit more urgency in midfield.

We improved in the second half but still didn't look like scoring as the 90-minute mark drew nearer and extra-time became inevitable.

Thankfully, we were saved from ABBA penalties by Bright Enobakhare – we all knew he had it in him and it was a well-taken goal.

But full credit to Bristol Rovers, they continued to put us under pressure and still looked in danger of equalising even in the dying minutes of extra time. The ref couldn't blow the whistle soon enough for me. Bring on the next round.

Who played well – and who didn't impress? For me, the best players on the night were Will Norris and Conor Coady. The former made some outstanding saves and if it wasn't for him we would be discussing a very different scoreline. He kept calm under pressure and proved to be a safe pair of hands in front of goal.

Coady gets better every time I see him, he's confident with his passing and worked well with Danny Batth.

What's your verdict on the match? We made it hard work for ourselves last night but at least we got the job done in the end, even if it did take 120 minutes to win which I'm sure a few players wouldn't have wanted. Bristol Rovers' support was fantastic for a midweek game and their players came and had a right go at us, if they had of won yesterday it wouldn't have been undeserved that's for sure.

The first half was very poor from our point of view, I was contemplating whether to have a can of Carabao at half time to wake me up a bit. Zyro had a couple of early half chances but apart from that our shots were either coming from range or set pieces. Norris made a couple of good stops to keep it at 0-0 going into the break, saving Miranda and Batth on separate occasions.

The second half was better in terms of both teams creating chances but there was no cutting edge from either side, credit to both goalkeepers though. Enobakhare having our best two chances but the Rovers keeper made very good saves for both, one being very impressive. They hit the post which ended up with us on the ropes for around five minutes, some nervy times but we stayed strong.

Bristol Rovers were the better side in extra time, we barely created anything but the one chance we did have, we took. Bright's first goal for over 30 appearances, about time he added to his tally of one goal in a Wolves shirt, he took it well though.

Another assist for Douglas too, in his first game back since getting injured against Cardiff. Norris made another world class save, with his legs this time and the ball bouncing up onto the bar, no idea how that didn't go in but huge credit to him. So many times Rovers were getting in behind us on the flanks and flashing balls across, luckily for us they didn't have anyone lurking to tap one of them in.

Who played well – and who didn't impress? Will Norris was man of the match for me. Three games and three clean sheets for the ex Cambridge keeper, two of them he's had a huge say in. It says a lot when you're playing lower league opposition at home and your goalkeeper is your best player. Just like the game at Southampton, made some big saves to keep us in the game. He's definitely showing John Ruddy that he's no mug and if he needed to step in ever I'd be confident in him to do well, still only young as well but he has certainly showed his class in this tournament.

I liked the look of Enobakhare yesterday. Some of his touches and skill he produces at times is exhilarating but then there's occasional times his end pass or decision making is off point. Pardon the pun but he was our bright spark going forward yesterday, always trying to attack and make things happen. Nice to see him get his 2nd senior goal for Wolves too, long overdue but hopefully that can give him some confidence to get more goals. He looked exhausted by the end of extra time and I doubt anyone was surprised with the running he did all game.

Coady once again was fantastic at the back, always barking orders at the team, acting like the captain he isn't but in my opinion he should be over Batth. I've got nothing against Batth but when you hear that Scouse accent overpowering everyone and everything you don't mess about but in all seriousness, he's the central one of the back three and he's always giving instructions. His passing yesterday was as good as it's been this season.

That young Danish RWB struggled a lot last night, I'm going to call him Oskar to make it easier for me and anyone reading this. I'm not going to have a go at him because he was thrown into the deep end and looking back on it, I think Nuno should have gone with Marshall at wing back and Ronan in the right forward position. The players didn't want to pass to Oskar after a while and every time he had the ball he was afraid to have a go at their full back and always went backwards. It was probably down to nerves which is understandable considering his poor touches as well, in the end Bristol Rovers were targeting him and I'm not surprised.

Batth and Miranda weren't at their best yesterday but it's another clean sheet for them even though they can thank Norris for that. Batth I can kind of understand as he had to go out of position a lot to cover for Oskar on numerous occasions. The whole back three probably wouldn't have wanted 120 minutes considering they all played at Forest and I'm sure they'll be the trio at the back against Barnsley this weekend.

What's your verdict on the match? Exactly the kind of banana skin we have slipped on in recent years (decades?).

But this is a different beast aided by Nuno's decision to retain the defensive core amongst a host of other changes. Indeed Batth Coady and Miranda were the only three who started the game at Forest on Saturday – it works!

What is that now, six clean sheets in nine? Elsewhere the squad players got some valuable game time and it was nice to see the two young wing backs given their chance.

Buur resembles a junior Lee Naylor in running style and gait and did well.

The only goal came from the best move of the match and ended with a crisp Bright finish. He seems better playing on instinct rather than trying to beat every man on the pitch.

Fair play to Bristol Rovers and their excellent support. But it's Wolves through to the last 16 for the first time since the pound was worth something!

Who played well – and who didn't impress? Coady was again excellent and has improved immensely under Nuno and Chuck Norris had a good game in goal.

What's your verdict on the match? I am sure I have seen this game before. Yet another frustrating League Cup home game.

We started well enough. Down the left Marshall and Price fed balls inside their right back and Deslandes was able to cross into the box. We were all over Rovers and they could not get hold of he ball for 20 minutes.

Zyro shot over the bar twice as a goal looked just moments away.

From then on however it was a different game. Rovers had the ball as much as Wolves and looked as likely to score.

Without the ball we lined up 5-4-1, surrendering the middle third of the pitch. Our tackling was not as affective as usual which ended up allowing them to have several attempts on goal.

Our diagonal balls to the young wing backs were in evidence while Marshall and Enobakhare swapped left and right either side of Zyro. Their touch and control was not a precise as it needed to be and most moves broke down without an attempt on goal.

We seemed to lose our composure as Rovers pressed forward. Too often balls were cleared aimlessly rather than passed and controlled to create a counter attack. Our transition play lacked something tonight.

We pulled through though. There were some neat moves at times too. One of those led to the chance that Enobhakare got the winner from having been played in by Douglas.

He had one earlier effort well saved by the keeper so he deserved his chance to hit the winner.

If we were a bit scrappy at Forest then we were more so last night. Winning ugly. Things could be a lot worse! Another clean sheet for our boys. Hey - we're on a cup run.

Who played well – and who didn't impress? Norris was far busier than expected. He was up to the challenge thankfully and tipped a couple of efforts over the bar, pushed a couple onto the woodwork, handled the ball safely and tried to set up quick attacks with long clearances. My man of the match.

Coady, Batth and Miranda were on loan from the first XI. They all had to put in a shift and all played well.

Batth continues to look like our only hope of scoring a headed goal.

Deslandes and Buur both gave a good account of themselves. Buur started nervously and gave the ball away cheaply at times but he grew into the game and played how a Nuno wing back is expected to play. Deslandes started playing well forward but gradually was forced to defend more as the game went on. He looked disappointed to be subbed.

N'Daiye and Price should have been the engine room that controlled the game. That never quite happened. A greater percentage of square passes rather than forward tended to slow any momentum we may have had.

Marshall started well and looked busy and precise with his passing early on, but failed to keep it going.

Enobhakare had the sort of game that drives you mad. Frequently he got in great positions but then over played it or wasted a pass. Hopefully now he has a goal that monkey is off his back. He can stop trying too hard and maybe things will fall into place. We know there is a load of potential just waiting to burst loose.

Zyro had a couple of decent shots on goal that bode well for his form. They were in the first half an hour – after which he failed to make much of an impact. after so long out it is no surprise he looks a long way off the first XI.

Nuno made full use of four subs over the two hours play. Cav looked a frustrating figure at times. Douglas gained some useful game time.

Ronan was at wing back where he looked as uncomfortable as Graham had done previously. Wilson had some pace to keep Rovers honest at the back while they pushed for an equaliser. His charge forward was enough to earn them a straight red card in the dying minutes.
