The right-back is rumoured to have signed a three-year-deal at Molineux after the news was leaked on social media late last night.

The 25-year-old joins on a free transfer after spending the last two seasons at German Bundesliga 2 club (second division) Eintracht Braunschweig.

Wolves are believed to have beat off competition from Huddersfield and German side FC Union in order to secure the full-back's services.

His contract was due to expire next month and will become Wolves' third signing of the summer after Ryan Bennett and Roderick Miranda.

Ofosu-Ayeh was restricted to just 17 appearances last season and has had to deal with a series of frustrating injuries over the last two years.

Meanwhile duo Jed Wallace and George Saville appear to have played their last games for the club with reports suggesting the midfielders have both signed for newly promoted Millwall.

Wallace spent two spells on loan at Millwall after failing to establish himself as a first team regular at Molineux, while Saville also spent a loan spell at The Den in 2015
