The record £13m signing has been linked with numerous clubs following his impressive debut season in England.

But the 23-year-old responded to fans on Instagram live stream earlier this week allaying fears that he may be set for a big money move elsewhere.

When asked by fans, "Helder please stay at Wolves," the Portuguese winger responded positively:

"Don't worry, I will, I will," replied Costa, sending Wolves fans into Twitter meltdown.

An ankle injury forced Costa to miss Wolves' final eight games, but the Player of the Season looks to have fully recovered, recently posing for a picture with teammate Ivan Cavaleiro and two friends.

The 23-year-old saw off competition from David Edwards and Conor Coady to scoop the prize, succeeding last year’s winner Matt Doherty.

Costa has been a revelation since joining from Benfica – initially on loan last summer before he signed a four-and-a-half year deal in January.

He has netted 12 goals in 40 appearances, as well as providing eight assists.
