West Brom v Sheffield United: Lewis Cox's predicted line-up as boss desires turnaround
Recent Albion changes have done little to change or inspire any form for Albion.
Ryan Mason made five alterations to his side for the clash at QPR last weekend, where the visitors fell to a miserable 3-0 defeat, and four more for the 3-2 reverse at Southampton on Tuesday night.
The head coach conceded he is trying to find formulas for success with his line-up and will wonder how best to restrict and trouble in-form Sheffield United at home on Friday night. The Baggies are, at least, a better side at The Hawthorns this season.
Mason was coy on the fitness of midfielder Alex Mowatt but with concerns over a foot injury from St Mary's the other night it feels likely he will miss out.
In joining Toby Collyer on the sidelines, Mason may have to make do with Jayson Molumby and Ousmane Diakite.
Elsewhere there is a decision to be made in defender with the expected return to a back four, from the five and wing-backs used the other night.
Nat Phillips and Chris Mepham are both struggling for form of late and I've opted to leave out the former after he spent last weekend's trip to QPR suspended. He made a poor error on Tuesday and went some way to atone with the late goal but Albion still lost.
