Sam Johnstone

Another performance where you could struggle to portion any blame to him for goals conceded. Had little chance with any of Arsenal's goals really.

Was certainly the busier goalkeeper on the night, another good display from him which could attract interest this summer.

Darnell Furlong

Put in a stunning challenge early on to deny Bukayo Saka when the youngster looked certain to score - but had a tough time overall.

Tag team of Willian and Saka is not one he'll look back at fondly. Missed a great chance to level but did improve second half.

Double-teamed. 5

Semi Ajayi

Probably the pick of Albion's central defensive partnership, which did work hard to try and keep Arsenal at bay.

Always willing to throw his body on the line and win the ball in the air. Tried to turn the host's defence with long balls, but few of those came off.

Hit and miss. 6

Kyle Bartley

Tried his best to stand firm, but ultimately the Albion defence he was part of struggled to keep the Gunners quiet.

Part of the defensive mix up which provided Arsenal with their second goal of the evening. Gave away the foul which led to Arsenal's third.

Conor Townsend

An excellent display from the full-back who made a number of well-timed challenges on £72million man Nicolas Pepe.

Townsend was also a threat going forward with his combination play with Pereira excellent at times.

Okay Yokuslu

A mix of battling strength and cultured quality on the ball which we're getting very used to seeing from him.

Has improved the Baggies no end, was the pick of the midfield players on a poor night for Albion. Surely another Premier League club goes for him this summer.

Matt Phillips

Drafted in to a less familiar midfield role as part of a 4-3-3 formation in place of the ineligible Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Didn't offer too much going forward early doors but did whip in some good deliveries late on. Did his best and didn't tire.

Filled in. 6

Conor Gallagher

Started strong with his usual enthusiasm and energy, but did seem to fade in and out of the game on both sides of the ball.

Doesn't offer the same goal threat we saw from him earlier this season. Not much came off for him going forward.

Matheus Pereira

Honestly, what a player this lad is.

Came incredibly close to opening the scoring with an outrageous effort in the first 15 minutes - and was the Baggies' biggest threat throughout.

At a point where nobody else in green and yellow looked like scoring, the Brazilian did it all by himself with a stunning solo effort.

That goal will probably add to his price tag this summer.

Callum Robinson

Sharp enough in the opening stages, albeit without getting much opportunity on the ball. Struggled to find his way into the game as the Gunners took hold.

He did try and help his full back out, but he wants to be affecting the game further forward. Subbed.

Quiet. 5

Mbaye Diagne

Was inches away from turning in a brilliant Pereira ball in the opening 20 minutes, but did become isolated as the minutes ticked by.

Subbed off before the hour mark as he struggled to have any kind of impact with or without the ball.

Ineffective. 5

Hal Robson-Kanu

Brought on for the ineffective Diagne. Got booked for inadvertently roughing up Mohamed Elneny.

Like Diagne, didn't offer much of a goal threat. But did provide a more mobile runner going forward for Albion, which helped as they pushed late on.

Mixed. 6

Grady Diangana

Good to see the former West Ham man brought on, to be honest. Will be a big player for the club next season.

Offered more defensive assistance than Robinson and showed some neat touches on the flank.

Energetic. 6
