Sawyers totalled 42 appearances for the Baggies in the Championship last season, scoring once and assisting once from a deep central midfield role, often alongside Jake Livermore.

He joins Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips and former QPR midfielder Eberechi Eze in a three man midfield put together by the PFA.

The front three consists of Brentford duo Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma, whilst Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic takes the final spot up-front.

There was an omission for Albion's Brazilian wizard Pereira though, who despite scoring eight times and registering 20 league assists has not been included.

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba earned the spot between the sticks, with a back four consisting of Fulham's Joe Bryan, alongside Leeds trio Liam Cooper, Ben White and Luke Ayling.
