After 13 hugely successful years, the Northern Irishman waved goodbye to The Hawthorns last week with the midfielder now set to continue his playing career elsewhere.

Incredibly, Brunt's last season ended in the same way as his first – with a final day clash against QPR securing promotion to the Premier League.

In total, the 35-year-old won three promotions during his time with the Baggies with his 269 Premier League appearances more than any other player. He also scored 24 top flight goals and registered 49 assists.

And he thinks that record will be what gives him the most pride when he looks back on his career.

"It's probably the Premier League appearances," Brunt said when asked what he is most proud of following his 13 years with Albion.

"Individual accolades have never really been for me.

"I always thought I was a decent team player. Scoring 20 goals or setting up x amount of goals didn’t really interest me.

"At the end of the day that is what I was in the team to do.

"A lot of people talk about stats but you are only as good as the boys around you.

"The fact I was able to play in the Premier League for so many years. Somebody said to me I am the record Premier League appearance holder for Albion, when I look back on my career that will be something I am very proud of."

Meanwhile, Filip Krovinovic says he is still unsure where he will be playing his football next season despite his successful loan with Albion.

The midfielder made 43 appearances and struck up a fantastic rapport with Baggies fans after joining on loan from Benfica last summer.

Slaven Bilic previously confirmed he wants to sign Krovinovic on a permanent deal. But the midfielder is yet to speak to new Benfica boss Jorge Jesus about his future.

“I do not know yet,” Krovinovic told Croatian newspaper Vecernji when asked about his future.

“The Championship has just ended and we have not started negotiations yet. The situation in Benfica has changed a bit. The coach, (Bruno) Lage, left.

“He didn’t select me, and if he had stayed at the club, I would surely have been even closer to staying in England.

“There is no clause in my loan agreement according to which West Brom can buy me out, so not everything is under my control, if the new coach Jesus wants to keep me.”
