The fixtures for the Championship’s 2019/20 season have been released this morning, and first up for Slaven Bilic’s men is a trip to the City Ground on Saturday, August 3.

That game has already been moved to 5.30pm to be shown live on television.

Bilic’s first home game will be against Millwall seven days later, followed up by a trip to Luton Town, who are managed by Darren Moore’s former assistant, Graeme Jones.

The Baggies travel to Barnsley on Boxing Day, but then have a couple of mouth-watering ties at The Hawthorns in four days over New Year.

They host Jonathan Woodgate’s Middlesbrough on Sunday, December 29th, before Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United visit The Hawthorns on New Year’s Day.

Albion don’t have any league games against their traditional rivals Villa and Wolves this season, but they travel to Birmingham City on Saturday, December 14, before hosting Blues on Saturday, March 14.

The club’s first midweek fixture of the league season is home to Reading on Wednesday, August 21.

Albion’s run-in could prove tricky, with two relegated teams from the Premier League in the final three games.

Their last five games are Derby, Blackburn, Fulham, Huddersfield and QPR, who they host on the final day of the season, Saturday May 2.

A number of Albion's games were moved for television coverage last season and so plenty of these fixtures are subject to change.

The draw for the Carabao Cup first round takes place tonight at 7pm. Matches are scheduled to take place week commencing 12 August.
