Morgan Rogers also scored as the Baggies booked a last-16 clash at Arsenal, who knocked out Tottenham.

After a tight opening, Soule fired Mike Scott’s side in front on 19 minutes with a curling effort from inside the box.

Joe Gubbins almost got the visitors level but his header went just over.

Soule was denied his second by keeper Harvey White but Albion did double their advantage on 34 minutes.

Tulloch was tripped in the box but he picked himself up to dispatch the resulting spot-kick.

Soule made it 3-0 just three minutes later with a close-range finish from a Taylor Gardner-Hickman centre.

Rangers went close to pulling a goal back just before the break but Marcus Brooks could only hit the post after Grant’s shot had been pushed out by Josh Griffiths.

But any hope the visitors had of coming back was ended two minutes into the second period when Tulloch fired in his second.

Dillon De Silva had an effort on 68 minutes but was unable to beat Griffiths at his near post after a fine run down the right.

Soule was denied his hat-trick by a terrific save and Rangers did grab a consolation on 73 minutes when Oluwabunmi Babajide slid home DeSilva’s cross.

But it was the Baggies who would have the final word when Rogers netted in the dying seconds.
