England international Livermore admitted that Darren Moore’s side have struggled against sides that have set up in a more direct and defensive manner this season.

Marcelo Bielsa’s table-topping Leeds side have won plenty of plaudits for their intense, easy-on-the-eye style this term but Livermore reckons that approach could play into Albion’s hands.

Moore’s men, still Championship top scorers with 33 goals, have not won in four league games.

“They’re coming here to play good football, I’d imagine, and maybe that’ll help us in the system that we’re in,” said the 28-year-old.

“We’ve found it difficult against those teams that try and play a more direct way and sit in – we’ve found that quite difficult.

“With Leeds coming to play an expansive game and play football, it’ll be a match of football rather than (trying) to disrupt it.”
