Rondon will be allowed to leave the Baggies this summer for £16.5million due to a relegation release clause in his contract.

West Ham have already been linked with the Venezuelan, who scored 10 goals in 40 appearances last season, now that Manuel Pellegrini has been installed as manager.

Pellegrini managed Rondon for Spanish side Malaga earlier in his career.

But according to reports, Atletico and Inter have now weighed into the battle for the striker’s signature. Rondon, who joined the Baggies for £12m three years ago, has one year left on his current Albion contract.

Elsewhere, former Albion academy product Yan Dhanda, 19, has left Liverpool for Swansea.
