The full-back was with the Grecians for the first half of the campaign - scoring one goal in eight appearances - before returning to The Hawthorns in early January.

Paul Tisdale’s side are currently sat eighth in the League Two table, and Wilson is looking forward to going back to the Devon club to continue his development.

“The first half of the season was a really good experience,” said the 17-year-old.

“I played a few games, which was always the aim, so hopefully now the second half of the season can be similar.

“It’s a big difference to Premier League 2 football and a big step up, but I felt like when I was down there that every game I played was just another learning experience.

“It’s been nice to be up here for a little period because that’s where my family are, but now I’m ready to go back and start working even harder.

“The main aim as an Exeter player for the rest of the season is to get promoted from League Two to League One, which would be really good for my first loan.

“On a personal note, my target will be to just get as many games as possible and really put in some good performances when I’m down there.”

Elsewhere, Dara O'Shea has returned to Hereford FC, where he spent the opening half of the campaign. The 18-year-old defender has made 26 appearances for the non-league Bulls, scoring one goal.
