Evans was forced off in the first half with a groin injury that he appeared to pick up when former Baggie Shane Long ran upended him dangerously in the air while the Albion skipper was leaping for a header.

Dawson was forced off late one with a knee injury after Sofiane Boufal's 84th-minute winner when Tony Pulis had made all three substitutions.

The right-back hobbled down the tunnel immediately and boarded the team bus on crutches afterwards.

Both will receive scans on Sunday and there is also some concern about Gareth Barry, who was brought off with a knock too.

"Jonny's done his groin and Daws has done is knee so we're not sure until we scan them both tomorrow," said Pulis. "Everyone in Northern Ireland will be concerned about Jonny and obviously we're concerned about both of them."

Barry was withdrawn shortly after the restart when Pulis switched to a back three.

"He felt his back at half-time and we were worried about his hamstring a little bit before he went out for the second half," said Pulis. "We were going to give him a little start and see how it went and then take it from there."
