Albion’s record signing marked his first Premier League start of the season with stunning free-kick against Leicester that brought about his 100th career goal.

He says there are ‘great players’ in the squad following a busy summer of transfer business, but admitted the team needed to improve in possession.

“I’m happy to get back into the team and to help the team get a point,” he said. “It’s a shame we didn’t get the three points, but we need to take the good things we showed into the following games.

“We’ve got great players in the team so we need to show more composure on the ball, but I think we will do that next game, I’m very positive about that.”

Chadli admitted to feeling ‘tired’ after his second start of the season, but is looking forward to getting back up to match fitness now he’s returned from injury.

Last week the Belgian went to see renowned German specialist Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt for a pre-planned injection to loosen up his lower back.

‘Healing Hans’, as he is known, is famous for injecting alternative medicines such as calves’ blood and a substance extracted from the chest of cockerels into his patients.

Chadli’s treatment is not so obscure, and he confirmed he has been regularly seeing Muller-Wohlfahrt since he played at Tottenham.

“He didn’t inject me with calves’ blood!” said Chadli. “If it was blood I would have known it.

“It’s an old treatment. It’s not only an injection, I need to see chiropractors, physios and stuff like that for exercises.

“Then you need to keep doing it to make your back stronger and better.

“I’ve known him for many years now. It’s not just now I use it, I use it for years - since I was at Spurs.

“I had a muscle strain which is why I was out and then I also got back pain. Now it’s better and it’s alright.

“For me it’s about getting 100 per cent fit with game time. I don’t have pain any more so it’s important to get my fitness back.”

Chadli usually practices his free-kicks but admitted he hadn’t been able to this season because his muscle strain was in his right leg.

“I practice my free-kicks but I’ve just come back from injury so I didn’t practice a lot on my right foot because that’s where I was injured,” he said.
