Albion have announced they will kick-off their pre-season programme with a friendly in Austria against Czech champions Slavia Prague.

Tony Pulis will again be taking his team to Austria in pre-season.

The game in the Austrian town of Kumberg on Wednesday July 12 (kick-off 5pm local time) will come at the end of the Baggies now traditional week-long training Alpine training camp, in which the focus will be on strength on conditioning.

Slavia won the Czech league title in 2016/17 ahead of rivals Viktoria Plzen and Sparta Prague, duly making it into this season's Champions League third qualifying round.

Albion face Slavia before swiftly heading off to Hong Kong to take part in the Premier League Asia Trophy.

The Baggies taken on Leicester City in their opening fixture in the Far East before then coming up against either Liverpool or Crystal Palace in the four-team tournament.

Tony Pulis's men travel to Spain for their final pre-season friendly against La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna, a week before the 2017/18 Premier League campaign gets underway.
