Thievy Bifouma could make his first Albion start tonight after being confirmed as a Premier League record-breaker.
The Frenchman's goal at Crystal Palace just 36 seconds into his Baggies career has been confirmed as the fastest ever by a Premier League debutant.
His strike at the start of the second half in the 3-1 defeat at Selhurst park beat the previous best, set by Kepa Blanco for West Ham against Liverpool in January 2007, by 29 seconds.
Boss Pepe Mel said: "Thievy is a young player who is hungry to be a big player in the Premier League.
"The last match was good for him and it's possible he will be in the line-up."
Thievy becomes the first debutant to score under one minute on his debut.
Despite the quick goal, former Tottenham Hotspur defender Ledley King holds the fastest Premier League goal record.
His strike 9.7 seconds into a match against Bradford City in 2000 was nearly beaten when Newcastle United's former striker Alan Shearer netted 10 seconds into a match against Man City in 2003.
The difference of a few milliseconds means King's record stands as the quickest ever Premier League goal with Thievy now holding the quickest goal from a debutant.
