Jonas Olsson calls for instant West Brom revival

Defender Jonas Olsson today called on West Brom to forget about Saturday's controversial loss at Arsenal as they look to bounce back from three straight defeats.

The Sweden international insisted the Baggies should not dwell on their setback at the Emirates Stadium, which came courtesy of two controversial penalties.

Olsson admitted Steve Clarke's side were below par, but urged them to focus on the matches ahead, starting with Sunday's meeting with West Ham at The Hawthorns.

"I think all teams have down periods," said Olsson after the Baggies were beaten by Mikel Arteta's two spot-kicks. "For us it's about what happens now and we need to get on track as soon as possible. Swansea is a difficult place to go, as is Arsenal, so I don't think we should over-analyse the games.

"Stoke was more difficult to come to terms with, but runs like this can happen in a season. For us it's important to get back on track during this Christmas period.

"In the first half we weren't at our best. We went to Arsenal with ambitions to play our own game, which we didn't do in the first half. In the second half we did it better. Everything has to be 100 per cent."
