Defenders Hayden White and Dan Scarr are both out of contract on June 30 and were the only two senior players offered new terms as eight of their team-mates were released.

It remains to be seen if the pair will sign on the dotted line for next season, but with more than a month left on their current deal negotiations are still ongoing and are expected to take some time.

With the players currently enjoying some time off, too, the final decision on the two defenders is not expected soon.

Alongside them, youngster Danny Coogan was offered a short-term deal.

The teenager, who can play right-back or centre-midfield, was officially released last summer but invited back to train.

He got his opportunity under former manager Brian Dutton who brought him back into the fold and said he was fighting for a contract.

That offer eventually came after Dutton had departed and negotiations are also still ongoing with the 19-year-old, who could join several fellow academy graduates – including Sam Perry, Joe Willis and Alfie Bates – in moving up to the first team.
