Walsall End of Season Awards: Liam Kinsella scoops two top gongs

Liam Kinsella has been named Player of the Season as Walsall unveiled their end of season awards.

The versatile 25-year-old walked away with the top gong after an impressive campaign despite the club's struggles in League Two this season.

Kinsella capped off a memorable day as he was also named Players' Player of the Season after featuring 46 times for the Saddlers.

Sam Perry's breakthrough year saw his win the Supporters Young Player of the Season following on from his new contract last month.

Emmanuel Osadebe's stunner vs Tranmere Rovers was enough to secure the Goal of the Season, while James Clarke was named Community Player of the Year.

Defender Luke Zona walked away with Apprentice of the Season after the youngster continued to show the talent that has him tipped to break into the first team.

Meanwhile the club recognised a number of staff for their ongoing contributions in their annual Long Service award.
