The white kit, which also features red and green trim, has the names of every supporter who left their season ticket money with the club showcased on the body of the shirt.

Fans were offered a refund for their 2020/21 season tickets when it became clear that supporters would not be able to attend fixtures amid the pandemic.

However, a number of supporters opted against claiming a refund, helping the club function amid testing financial times.

The third kit represents those willing to help the club during the past 12 months, with those who did not request a refund eligible to receive a 35 per cent discount should they choose to buy it.

The kit starts at £29 for juniors, with adult kits costing up to £47 depending on sizing. With the discount included, the most fans will have to pay is £30.55.

The new shirt will be available to pre-order from April 1, with the kit able to be collected over the summer.

Leigh Pomlett was pleased to be able to give supporters an early glimpse of the commemorative third shirt.

"I’m delighted to be able reveal what the commemorative third kit will look like." he said.

"We are grateful to all supporters who left their season ticket money in the club and this is our way of giving something back to you by having all your names on the kit."

The new shirt will be made with new revolutionary Ti-Energy fabric and Errea’s Global Partnerships Manager Michael Craddock was delighted to work with the club to produce the commemorative kit.

"We were delighted to work with our Partners, Walsall FC to produce this Ti-Energy fabric shirt in white, allowing the names of every supporter who kept their season ticket money in the club in 2020-21 to be showcased." he said.

"When the players run out onto the pitch wearing this shirt, they will be carrying every one of those supporters with them.

"For this shirt, and the other shirts produced for Walsall FC for the 2021-22 season, we are using our new, revolutionary Ti-Energy fabric, which has antiviral and antimicrobial properties along with Minusnine J1+ treatment to make it super-impermeable to liquids and droplets. We believe these Ti-Energy shirts offering a winning combination of maximum performance and safety."

Saddlers fans will also have the chance to win a free shirt upon its sale with Walsall running a competition via social media.
