Having gone a goal down, the Saddlers battled back through Rory Holden and Elijah Adebayo strikes to extend their league unbeaten run to 10 games and Dutton was delighted with their resilience.

“We’re really pleased for the lads to be a goal down again and come back and win the game,” Dutton said

“That’s really pleasing to see because it just shows the character of the boys.

“Obviously we want to go 1-0 up and keep scoring from there, but it shows what great character the lads have to come from a goal down. Really pleased.”

Meanwhile, Dutton has revealed the club are waiting on scan results to understand the extent of the knee injury to Josh Gordon, after the striker was withdrawn on Saturday.

“We’re waiting on scan results back from Josh, hopefully it’s nothing but obviously we don’t know with regards to the injury until we get the scan results back.

“Fingers crossed it’s nothing but we just have to wait on the scan results before we can comment on it.

“Pretty much by the weekend we’ll have the test results back and we’ll be able to clear that one up.”
