After initially launching the campaign to end on March 31, the club extended that period until April 7 to give fans an extra opportunity to purchase during coronavirus isolation.

Alongside that, they announced an option to pay for the ticket in three instalments to ease the financial burden on fans.

The scheme offering fans a partial refund on their ticket starts when 3,000 have been bought and with five days remaining, the total stands at just over 1,300. In an attempt to rally more fans to get on board, assistant coach Brian Dutton released a video on the club’s social media.

“Obviously these are unprecedented times we find ourselves in and it’s very challenging for everybody up and down the country,” he said.

“The football club has also fallen victim to these times, so if you are in a position to go out and buy an early bird season ticket, you will help the football club immensely. Please stay safe and look after yourselves and most importantly look after one another.”
