Stuart Sinclair believes everyone at Walsall needs to stick together to ensure they get their season back on track as quickly as possible.

Saddlers have endured a poor start to the new campaign with the team winless in their last eight outings.

On top of that, Darrell Clarke’s side has scored just once in their last six games.

But Sinclair is adamant things will soon pick up – with performances having been better than results.

“It’s nearly there, performance wise we’re so close,” Sinclair said.

“We’ve just got to keep working hard on the training ground to create those partnerships.

“Partnerships are hard to create, it does take time, especially with forwards because a lot of it is off the cuff.

“Making sure we stick together is incredibly important.

“We’ve got a lot of good young footballers and we need to make sure as a club we stick together and encourage those footballers to progress and show us what they have.”
