Walsall stars don costumes at club Christmas party
Goalkeeper Mark Gillespie stole the show as Walsall’s players celebrated Christmas by throwing a fancy dress party.
Kim Jong Un, Elsa from Disney’s Frozen and Morpheus from the Matrix were just some of the attendees at the bash which was held after the Saddlers 1-0 win over Scunthorpe on Saturday.
But it was Gillespie who was the pick of the bunch with the keeper creating an outfit which showed he bears a striking resemblance to MMA fighter and professional boxer Conor McGregor.
Right-back Nicky Devlin attended as Elsa while skipper Adam Chambers dressed up as Morpheus.
Krusty the Clown, Batman, Spiderman and The Flash were some of the other characters enjoying the celebrations.
