Karl Darlow agrees new Saddlers deal

Sport | Published:

Walsall today agreed a deal to extend the loan of goalkeeper Karl Darlow.

The 21 year-old arrived at the club from Nottingham Forest at the end of September and has made seven appearances so far. This latest deal will see his stay extended until December 22.

"Karl has done really well for us," said manager Dean Smith. "We are pleased with his progress and I am delighted that Forest have agreed to extend his stay."

In the FA Cup first-round draw the Saddlers will travel to face the winners of Lincoln City and FC Halifax Town. The tie will be played over November 3-4.
