Stourbridge 5 Royston Town 1 - Report

Stourbridge stormed to one of their best results of the season so far after thumping higher placed Royston Town 5-1.

Striker Jason Cowley led the way by netting a hat-trick, his opening goal in the 25th minute separating the sides at half time.

Tyler Lyttle lashed home a second goal before Royston pulled the score back to 2-1 when substitute Connor Furlong beat the offside trap to bring the Hertfordshire side back in to the game.

Two more goals from Cowley put paid to any further Royston recovery before being replaced by Reece Styche whothen completed the rout with a fifth goal in the final minute.
