Stourbridge go joint top

Stourbridge went joint top of the Southern Premier Central League with a 4-0 victory at Redditch United.

The Glassboys opened the scoring through Callum Powell who fired in after 36 minutes. Greg Mills added a penalty early in the second half before striker Luke Benbow smashed in a superb strike to make it 3-0.

A Redditch own goal completed the rout to put Stour level on points with Kettering Town, behind only on goal difference.

Meanwhile, Halesowen beat Tamworth 5-3 on penalties in the Birmingham Senior Cup after both sides were goalless at the end of normal time.
