The Glassboys have moved to sign up another member of last year’s squad after Forde made 48 appearances for the club, scoring four goals.

Boss Gary Hackett said: “ Aaron’s a good player with a tremendous drive and will to win. There’s times where he needs to channel his aggression and desire to succeed in better ways and we’ve had chats about it.”

He added: “He’s 25 and has great experience of this level through his past spells with Halesowen, Rushall and Sutton Coldfield and year with us.

“He’s coming into his prime as a footballer now and it’s up to him to make the most of his talents.”

Meanwhile, Hackett remains in talks with veteran defender Stuart Pierpoint and is still on the lookout for a new goalkeeper.
