Stafford Rangers have told prospective managerial candidates they must apply for the job online.

The Boro’s search for a new boss is being lead by former joint manager Andy Fearn, who stepped up to the role of director of football at the same time his counterpart, Alex Meechan, was axed earlier this month.

In a statement, the club said they were now inviting applications from “suitably qualified and experienced” candidates, who are required to submit a CV of no longer than two pages.

Anyone who has previously expressed an interest in the post or sent in a written application is being asked to do so again.

CV’s must be written on an MS Word document and submitted as an email attachment to secretary@staffordrangersfc.co.uk. The deadline for applications is Friday.

The Boro will again play in the Northern League Premier next season. They were bottom of the table when the current campaign was halted due to the coronavirus but given a reprieve when the season was declared null and void.
