The Boro started well with Jack Sherratt and Sim Thandi going close before Joe Cuff sent his menacing effort just wide.

And it was Rangers who took the lead on 33 minutes when Theo Bailey-Jones hit his strike from a tight angle across the goalkeeper and into the net.

After the break Rangers probed their hosts again with Cuff firing over.

The game turned on its head with two goals inside five minutes for the hosts.

Basford equalised on 63 minutes when Matt Thornhill crossed to Jack Thomas who turned his marker before firing home.

The hosts were ahead just four minutes later when a floating ball into the box was met by the head of Shaun Harrad.

As Basford looked to see the game out Rangers felt they deserved a penalty for a handball and then Andrai Jones headed wide.

And then in the first minute of injury time Bailey-Jones saw his shot deflect off a home defender and into the net for a dramatic equaliser.
