Stafford Rangers threw away in a two-goal lead in their first match since Andy Fearn and Alex Meecham were confirmed as Boro’s management team until the end of the season.

Theo Bailey-Jones and Joe Cuff had Stafford in charge of their Northern Premier clash at Mickleover Sports inside 22 minutes before Jake Charles rounded the goalkeeper and hit the post.

And Sports came roaring back inside the last half an hour, completing the turnaround from the penalty spot with five minutes to go.

Staffordshire rivals Hednesford Town went down 1-0 at home to Farsley Celtic, while – in Northern One West – James O’Neill’s early strike was only enough for Chasetown to grab a point at Kidsgrove Athletic.

Kidderminster Harriers had their own turnaround in National North, coming from a goal down at home to Hereford to win 2-1 and move back into the play-off places, despite a first-half red card for Ryan Johnson.

Kane Richards and Declan Weeks scored for Harriers.
