The 27-year-old scored twice on his Boro debut – a 6-0 thrashing of St Ives Town in the FA Trophy on Saturday.

He joined on a one-month loan from Coalville Town and also impressed in Tuesday’s 1-0 league win against Barwell.

“We have got Massiah for a month from Coalville and he got a couple of goals in the FA Trophy,” said Kitching.

“He played well against Barwell as well, so he has made a good start.

“He is a very quick lads and puts a good shift in, and he is building up his fitness so he should only get better with each game that he plays for us.

“He has added a new dimension to our play.”

Kieran Morris got the goal as Rangers defeated Barwell at Marston Road.

That result moved them up to 16th in the Evo-Stik Premier.

“It is going well at the moment, we have had a good few weeks to be fair – performances and results,” added Kitching.

“I was really impressed by Barwell, they surprised me a bit as they had a lot of pace and energy which really hurt us at times.

“They probably felt a bit hard done by to not get anything from the game, but we got our goals and saw it out so I was really pleased. It has been a good week, two clean sheets and two wins.”

Boro will look to keep up the run as they head to Whitby Town on Saturday.
