Stafford Rangers boss Neil Kitching feels he has the right ingredients

Stafford Rangers boss Neil Kitching believes he has a good blend of youthfulness and experience in his squad as they prepare for another clash against Mickleover Sports.

Boro, having beat Mickleover 1-0 at Marston Road on Tuesday night, head to Derbyshire tomorrow – looking to extend their unbeaten run in the Evo-Stik Premier to four games.

Kitching left out the likes of Kyle Perry, Kris Taylor and Mitchell Tolley for the home game – who are all well-versed in the rigours of non-league – in favour of young talents such as Tyler Lyttle, Jake Heath and Brian Barton.

The Rangers chief admits he may ‘revert to type’ and select more experienced heads at the Don Amott Arena but said: “I’ve said before, we have a real emphasis on youth here at the moment – young, hungry players.

“There is a decent blend of experience and quality youngsters, which, of course, bodes well for the future.

He added: “I think it will be a different game to Tuesday. Mickleover know us and we know them. We may revert to type so we will see how it goes.”

Halesowen Town – who are three points above the drop zone – are at Spennymoor Town.

The Yeltz will be feeling better about themselves after a huge 1-0 win against Frickley Athletic last weekend.

Rushall Olympic make the long trip to table-toppers Blyth Spartans, and Hednesford Town go to Warrington Town.
