The pace up front of Jonathan Letford and Danny Waldron caused early problems for the home defence and the visitors should have taken the lead after just four minutes. Letford`s first time ball over the defence, set Waldron clear but with only the goalkeeper to beat he saw his shot flash inches wide of the post.

Seven minutes later though the Pics were ahead. Richard Batchelor`s through ball found LETFORD who still had plenty to do but he controlled the ball, turned away from the defenders, and slotted the ball into the bottom corner of the goal for a fine individual effort.

Little had been seen of the home attack but Callum Powell`s powerful drive was well blocked and as play swung to the other end Tony Breeden, in the home goal, saved Batchelor` s shot and then Pics goalkeeper Jonathan Flatt made a terrific save to deny Powell and then

Lee Smith kept Rushall in the lead when he made a superb block to keep out a shot from David Bremang and as the home side kept up the pressure Bremang`s cross was only just too high for Jamie Towers,

Seven minutes into the second half the visitors doubled their lead. Letford did really well out on the left and sent over an inch perfect cross for WALDRON to head home. Rushall continued to press with Batchelor prominent in the heart of the midfield and he went close to adding a third when his header hit the base of the post.

However on sixty seven minutes the home side pulled a goal back when James CLIFTON curled home a fine free-kick to give them some hope.

Flatt in the Pics goal made another good save to push a header over the bar and two minutes from time the scoring was complete when substitute Shaquille WHITTINGHAM scored a superb goal beating Breeden in the home goal to clinch a deserved victory for Rushall.
