The visitors made a bright start to the game and shook the home side by racing into a two goal lead. They went ahead when the impressive captain Robert Parker converted a penalty and four minutes later doubled their advantage when Matthew Foy fired home a superb left foot shot.

This shook the home side up and three minutes later they were awarded a life-line when Orrin Pendley was brought down in the penalty area and Levi Rowley converted the spot kick. Three minutes before the interval the home side were on level terms when Jonathan Letford, took a pass from Shaquille Whittingham and scored into the bottom corner.

A minute later though the visitors were back in front when Parker scored a fine goal to grab his second of the game.

After the break the home side came out searching for an equaliser and found one within two minutes Danny O`Callaghan headed home a cross from Mitchell Clarke.

The home side were now on top with the visitors defending well and Pendley went close twice to putting the home side ahead and Ben Lund went even closer when he saw his shot hit the post.

With the game heading for a draw came a dramatic finale. After a goalmouth scramble the ball fell to Mitchell Clarke whose cross found veteran Asa Charlton and he kept his nerve to fire home the Pics winner and take them to the top of the table
