Attacking midfielder Sammons has joined the Evo-Stik Southern League Central side on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old has previously played under McDonald at Redditch United, Hednesford Town and Solihull Moors.

“Ash is a great addition to the squad,” said McDonald.

“He has proved over the years that he can get goals from midfield and has so much technical ability.

“He is a leader and will add plenty of quality to the team. I am delighted to be working with him again.”

Sammons added: “I am glad to be back working under the Gaffer. He knows how to get the best out of me and I know that I will really enjoy my football here.

“I am looking forward to being part of things.”

The Pics have had two players commit for next season too – no-nonsense defender Michael Townsend and midfielder Sam Whithall.
